Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers is seeking an Ultrasound Technician who can travel regionally and nationally to Fire Department and Police Department locations. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and both full-time and part-time options.

Expect scanning of organs for early cancer detection, cross-training for Echo, and exporting images per policy. Requirements include BLS, general (vascular preferred) experience, strong communication and leadership, and ownership of a vehicle to transport

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• General experience required – vascular experience preferred.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong technical skills to include MS Office, Imaging software and EMR platforms.
• Professionalism and compassion a MUST!
• Registry encouraged.
• Have own vehicle that can hold and carry needed equipment.

Responsibilities

• Scanning organs for early detection of cancer and other medical issues.
• Will cross-train for Echo as needed.
• Keep up with pending charts and properly export images per policy.
