Job summary

Together Women’s Health, LLC is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technician in Michigan to join our OB/GYN imaging team. You will acquire ultrasound images, aid in diagnoses, and work within our collaborative patient-care approach.

Candidate should be ARDMS certified, MFM trained, and have OB/GYN ultrasound experience. The role offers a supportive environment with potential to add more days in 2027.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified ultrasound program.
• MFM trained and ARDMS certified.
• Extensive OB/GYN imaging experience.
• Excellent communication with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients courteously and ensure their needs are met.
• Verify patient identification and physician orders.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and address questions.
• Review images, note observations, and communicate data to physician.
• Maximize ultrasound production and quality by following standards.
• Maintain a safe, secure work environment per procedures.
• Document ultrasound services in patient records.
• Participate in radiology process-improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

Comprehensive Woman's Care, a practice partner of Together Women’s Health (TWH)has an immediate opportunity for a part-time Ultrasound Technician to join our team! Opportunity to add more days in 2027!

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for acquiring ultrasound images that are used in medical diagnoses. The technician performs sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Our technicians maintain and demonstrate an understanding of the team approach to patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact:

• Greets all patients courteously and ensures that their needs are met
• Reviews patient identification and verifies physician order
• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of imaging procedures, explaining equipment, and answering questions
• Reviews images, makes initial observations, documents exceptions from established protocols and communicates data to physician
• Maximizes production and quality of ultrasounds by following established standards and procedures
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures
• Documents patient ultrasound services by completing patient record charting
• Participates in process improvement activities within radiology practice including but not limited to quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Talents you’ll bring to TWH:

• Graduate of a certified ultrasound program
• MFM trained
• ARDMS certified and in good standing
• Extensive experience in OB/GYN
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients in a professional and caring manner
• Must have reliable transportation
