Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide diagnostic ultrasound services across routine, vascular, interventional, and non-invasive procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

The role requires graduation from an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program, BLS, and Certification such as RDMS or ARRT(S) with proof within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
• Must demonstrate clinical competency in abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular areas as applicable.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• RDMS (Abdomen/OB-GYN) or ARRT(S); certification within 1 year of hire.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The primary purpose of the Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer position is to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic techniques to perform routine, vascular, interventional, and non-invasive procedures.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
• In addition to required entry level registries, the sonographer must demonstrate clinical competency in performance of abdomen, obstetric and gynecologic, or vascular procedures
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• RDMS - Abdomen or OB/GYN or ARRT (S) , must have certification within 1 year from hire date.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women's services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
