Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with RVT to provide diagnostic ultrasound services including abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, and interventional imaging as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role supports PRN hours and involves collaboration, continuous improvement in patient experience, and growth within a leading hospital system renowned for its Magnet designation and trauma services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program.
• Clinical competency in abdomen, obstetric/gynecologic, or vascular procedures.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• RDMS - Abdomen or OB/GYN or ARRT (S).
• RVT (ARDMS), VS (ARRT), or RVS/RCVT (CCI).
• 1 year experience required.

Your Job

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with RVT position is to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic techniques to perform routine, vascular, interventional, and non‑invasive procedures.

• Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
• In addition to required entry level registries, the sonographer must demonstrate clinical competency in performance of abdomen, obstetric, and gynecologic, or vascular procedures
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• RDMS - Abdomen or OB/GYN or ARRT (S)
• RVT (ARDMS), VS (ARRT), or RVS/RCVT (CCI)
• 1 year experience required
