Florida Medical Center is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations under radiologist supervision. The role covers abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, carotid, vascular, and small parts imaging with precise documentation and teamwork.
Requirements include ARDMS certification (AB/OB-GYN), RVT credentials within 89 days, and current BLS. On-call coverage is part of the essential duties in this imaging department.

Performs all aspects of Ultrasound Examinations with a high level of competence and professionalism to all types of patients regardless of age, under the direct supervision of the Radiologist. All facets of Ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, carotid, vascular and small parts. This position ensures that accurate and complete documentation and communication with Radiologist regarding clinical history and direct observation from all technical personnel. Must demonstrate good organizational skills in order to maintain efficient workflow and adaptability in accommodating emergency and add-on exams. Required to participate in on-call coverage for the modality as part of the essentials of the job requirement.

Ensures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other hospital personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner. Answers telephones in a prompt and courteous manner. Displays concern and provides assistance or explains procedures as appropriate to callers or in face-to-face situations. Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Works with customers to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.
