Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for the Medical Imaging unit (Miami Valley South). The role involves independently performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and interventional ultrasound, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining equipment per protocols.

Eligible candidates should be ARDMS/ARRT certified, possess an ARDMS RVT/CCI credential, and have CPR certification within 30 days of hire. Associate degree required; 2 years of preferred ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Credentialed in Ultrasound technology by one of the following (required): ARDMS or ARRT.
• Vascular Credentialed by ARDMS/RVT or CCI, RVS, or Cardiovascular Credentialing International, Registered Vascular Specialist.
• Minimum of one additional registry in Abdomen, OB/GYN, musculoskeletal, Neurosonology or Breast as approved by ARDMS.
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.
• Coordinates patient flow and activities of the Ultrasound Department.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and adheres to proper techniques and protocols.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed and may have on-call responsibilities.

General Summary/Responsibilities:

Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound directed interventional procedures utilizing proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Ultrasound Department. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
