Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist required.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound procedures independently, adhering to department protocols.
• Verifies patient identification and ensures appropriate procedures are ordered before imaging.
• Recognizes and documents pathologies during scanning for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging procedures.
• Keeps a clean, safe, and organized work environment with proper infection control.
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely following guidelines.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR and PACS.
• Monitors imaging material supplies and coordinates inventory replenishment.
