Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville at Durbin Park is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams and contribute to accurate patient records. You will communicate procedures to patients and help ensure a positive exam experience for all ages.

Requirements include graduation from an allied healthcare program, knowledge of modern diagnostic sonography techniques, a current BLS certification, and ARDMS or ARRT sonography certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an allied healthcare program.
• Knowledge of modern diagnostic sonography techniques.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Sonography certification through ARDMS or ARRT.
• Within one year of hire, obtain one of the following vascular credentials: RVS (CCI), RVT (ARDMS), or VS (ARRT).

Required Experience: Less than one year

Preferred Experience: One year performing general, vascular, and OB/GYN sonography

Preferred Licensure/Certifications: Sonography certification and vascular certification at hire or transfer
