Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diverse ultrasound procedures across all age groups. You will ensure quality images and participate in continuous quality improvement while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Required: ultrasound program completion, BLS, ARDMS eligibility, and within 1 year of hire obtain ARDMS credential relevant to the department. Prior acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Broad ultrasound imaging procedures across age groups.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of AMA Council on Education program in Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology.
• ARDMS eligibility and credentialing within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Description:

Provides a variety of ultrasound procedures on all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients. Estimated pay range for this position is $35.81 - $46.55 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support.
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

Additional Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology.
• Registration:Ultrasound Technologist 1 - Recent graduate.
• ARDMS eligible.
• Must obtain ARDMS certification related to the department clinical needs within 1 year of hire.
• Experience: Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred.
