Job summary

Emory Healthcare in Georgia is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to ensure delivery of diagnostic images and quality care, and to assist in duties. The role supports service excellence and patient safety.

Schedule is 10:00–8:30p, Mon–Fri with a full-time 40-hour workweek; ARDMS/ARRT registration required or registry eligible, plus BLS certification. Requires High School/GED and Ultrasound program completion.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Graduate of an Ultrasound Program or currently enrolled in the last semester of an Ultrasound Program.
• Current registration with ARDMS or ARRT or registry eligible; Sonography registration within 12 months of hire.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.

Qualifications:

• A. Education & Training: High School graduate or GED equivalent. Graduate of an Ultrasound Program or currently enrolled in the last semester of an Ultrasound Program.
• B. Experience: None.
• C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current registration with ARDMS or ARRT or registry eligible. Sonography registration within 12 months of hire. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
• D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Analyzing information, job knowledge, create a safe effective environment, use of medical technologies, diagnostic procedures, bedside manner, medical teamwork, informing others, quality focus, radiologic technology, professionalism.
