Job summary

Skyelia is seeking a licensed OB/GYN sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations at Central Carolina Women's Health Center in Sanford, North Carolina.

Under general supervision, you will follow departmental protocols, perform high-level probe disinfection, exercise professional judgment, monitor patients, and provide compassionate care.

Requirements include an Associate in Applied Science in Medical Sonography and ARRT ultrasound credential or ARDMS OB/GYN certification.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate in Applied Science in Medical Sonography.
• RN/tech registry with ultrasound credential or ARDMS OB/GYN certification is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs OB/GYN sonography examinations for clinical assessment and the diagnosis of medical conditions under general supervision of the attending Physician at Central Carolina Women's Health Center.
• Procedures will be performed according to departmental protocols, policies and procedures and established standards of practice.
• Performs high level disinfection of probes following departmental protocols.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor reflective of medical ethics.
• Assesses and monitors patients and provides appropriate patient care.
