Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform imaging of the abdominal and pelvic regions, thyroid, and related soft tissues using ultrasound equipment, including obstetric applications.

The role requires an approved certification in ultrasound or radiology, at least two years of experience, and BLS. You will work within a collaborative imaging team, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Completed certification from Ultrasound School or Radiology Technology School.
• Minimum experience: 2 years.
• Required certification: BLS.
• Required licensure: ARDMS/RVT or ARRT/VS or CCI (RVS/RCVT).
• Clinical skills include typing and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures of the abdominal and pelvic cavity, thyroid area, musculature, and soft tissues with the use of ultrasound apparatus and obstetrics.

2) ARRT, VS (Vascular sonographer) or

3) CCI (cardiovascular credentialing international), RVS, or RCVT (registered vascular specialist)

Skills: Computer experience preferred; typing and medical terminology
