Arkansas Urology in Little Rock, AR is seeking a seasoned Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support the radiology team in daily patient care. You will maintain the ultrasound room, ensure sterile technique, adhere to ARDMS/ARRT guidelines, and contribute to accurate image acquisition for interpretation by physicians.
Responsibilities include assisting physicians, preparing rooms for next patients, stocking supplies, and maintaining patient confidentiality
(Clinic M-F Day Shift)
Responsible for patient care and all of their needs. Responsible for performing Ultrasound procedures. Communicating with Physician and nurses so each patient is insured of the proper care.
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ARDMS and/or ARRT if a Radiologic Technologist & State of Arkansas Licenses
CPR
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology and/or an approved sonography program.
