Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Claremore, OK is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Tech to join our imaging team. You will operate ultrasound equipment, prepare exam rooms, and ensure patient comfort while delivering high-quality imaging services.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Sonography program, ARDMS registered or eligible, and possess SPI Certification. This position supports patient care and departmental goals in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program with ARDMS registration or eligible.
• SPI Certification required.
• Working knowledge of ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide ultrasound images and procedures to patients at a technical level.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, prepare exam rooms, maintain equipment, supplies and medications; transport patients.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities to achieve department goals.
• Assist with orientation of new employees.
• Perform clerical, file room and patient charge duties; assist PI program.

• Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity and women's services, ICU and cardiology services in the advanced cardiac catheterization lab.

• This position exists to provide ultrasound images and procedures to patients at a technical level.
• Operates ultrasound equipment, prepares patients exam rooms, maintains equipment, supplies and medications. Transports patients.
• Provides patient services using various imaging modalities for the successful accomplishment of hospital/departmental goals and objectives.
• Assist with orientation of new employees.
• Performs clerical, file room and patient charge duties; assists with department PI program.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography and ARDMS registered and/or eligible.
• SPI Certification
• A working knowledge of ultrasound procedures.
