Southeast Health is seeking an Imaging Support role to assist technologists in diagnostic procedures and to operate imaging equipment. You will follow safety rules, handle venipuncture, transport patients, and support IR/vascular/neuro procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records.

The position emphasizes teamwork, English communication, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines in a hospital setting. Evening shifts; part-time FTE available.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews examinations for technical accuracy and presents to radiologist.
  • Assists with interventional procedures in IR, vascular surgery, and neuro cases.
  • Operates imaging equipment in IR, Vascular OR, and neuro-interventional suites.
  • Maintains supplies and stock levels; follows safety protocols daily.
  • Communicates data and documents in the PACS and billing systems.

Southeast. Always the right career direction.Job Description SummaryUnder direct supervision of a technologist, assists technologist in diagnostic procedures and operation of some imaging equipment. Observes all safety rules in direct care and concern for patients of all ages, co-workers, self and staff. Responsible for assessing vital functions, performing venipuncture, dressing patients, and transporting patients as needed.Job DescriptionEssential FunctionsGeneral for all departments:Follows direction of technologists in the production of quality imaging (positioning, and technique).Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed examination to radiologist and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.Uses the PACS System in documenting correctly and accurately patient information to insure the quality of patient care.Uses the computer system correctly in charging the correct patient account with correct exams and supplies.Uses the computer system correctly in charging the correct patient account with correct exams and supplies.Demonstrates the ability to perform exams in the department.
