University of Kentucky Imaging Services is seeking a Radiology Sonographer to join our team in Lexington, KY. The Radiology Sonographer provides high-quality ultrasound services to patients, maintaining patient privacy and professional communication throughout exams.

The role requires ARDMS certification, RDMS/RT eligibility, and BLS within 90 days. Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts is expected to support department operations.

Qualifications

• Registered Sonographer – RDMS and/or RT at time of hire.
• BLS certification via AHA within 90 days of hire.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, efficient patient care in Imaging Services.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality and promote a positive work environment.
• Acquire or maintain ARDMS certification and comply with licensing/CE requirements.
• Meet departmental, state, and federal regulations and be flexible for operational needs.
