Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts ultrasound equipment and maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex ultrasound studies and supports imaging procedures.
• Recognizes structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
• Ensures high-quality images are submitted to PACS with correct labeling.
• Maintains a clean, organized department and equipment readiness.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and safe operations.
