Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification required within first year of employment.

• Ability to work in a stressful environment and multitask; meet needs of various patient age groups.

Responsibilities

• Obtain high quality ultrasound images in concert with radiologists.
• Provide exceptional patient care.
• Explain procedures and post-procedure orders to patients to gain cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Prioritize workflow based on patient condition and ensure timely arrival and departure of patients.
