Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking an ultrasound technologist to review appointment schedules, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging for patients and physicians.

Must have graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, ARDMS abdomen and physics boards, and CPR certification; hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Successfully completion of physics boards and abdominal boards through ARDMS.
• Candidate must be CPR Certified.

Responsibilities

• Reviews appointment schedules and suggests changes necessary to provide maximum use of the available resources (re: equipment and staff).
• Operates and maintains proficiency on all Ultrasound equipment within the department in order to provide quality imaging.
• Images are labeled with correct name and identification number.

$15,000 Sign on Bonus

Experience Required:

• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Successfully completion of physics boards and abdominal boards through ARDMS.

License Requirements:

• Candidate must be CPR Certified.
• Registered with ARDMS in Abdomen.
