Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Part-time Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures, relay findings to physicians, and ensure accurate interpretation through careful chart review. The role emphasizes patient positioning, image quality, and collaboration with the medical team.

The successful candidate will hold ARRT/ARDMS/RDCS or equivalent certification, or be Registry eligible with plan to obtain certification within 3 years, and maintain CPR

Qualifications

• Completion of two/three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologic technology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training/education.
• Licensure: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, CCI or equivalent; Registry eligible candidates must obtain registry status within 3 years; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures.
• Relay pertinent clinical information to interpreting physician.
• Review patient charts/orders and prior procedures for accurate interpretation.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them appropriately to ensure quality images.
• Discuss examination findings with physicians to support clinical decisions.
