Medical Center SE Texas Port Arthur is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures under the supervision of the Imaging Director and Ultrasound Supervisor.

The role emphasizes patient safety and high-quality testing, with a preference for ARRT certification and RDMS credentials and hospital experience.

Qualified graduates of radiology technology programs who completed ultrasound training are encouraged to apply; the position is on-site in Port Arthur, TX.

Qualificações

• Graduated from an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology.
• Completed training program in ultrasonic technology.
• Current ARRT registration preferred.
• RDMS registration preferred.
• Certified by the Texas Department of Health.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.

• Assist with exam setup, positioning, and equipment cleanup per protocol.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging and direct supervisor of the Ultrasound Supervisor, the Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the provision of ultrasonic diagnostic procedures to patients according to physician's orders.

Provides for patient safety and high quality testing.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 1. Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology.
2. 2. Completion of training program in ultrasonic technology.
3. 3. Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) preferred.
4. 4. Ultrasound Registry RDMS preferred.
5. 5. Certified by the Texas Department of Health.
6. 6. Previous experience in hospital environment preferred.
