Job summary

BayCare Health System’s Bartow Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography and support imaging workflow in a high-volume radiology department. The role requires ARDMS certification, BLS, and RDMS or eligibility, with on-call coverage and occasional weekend work.

You will coordinate scheduling, assist physicians, manage RIS data, and ensure accurate file room and clerical support, while upholding patient care, safety, and departmental resources.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications include 1 ARDMS certification. 2 ARDMS certifications preferred.
• Education Information in Comments
• Required - Technical - Ultrasound; Or - Associates - Ultrasound
• Basic Life Support
• Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer
• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RDMS (Sonography) - Certification

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures.
• Coordinates all workflow related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
• Assists with scheduling of staff, prioritization of patients, and supply resources for the department.
• Assists with on call coverage if applicable.
