Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks an ultrasound technologist to operate imaging equipment and ultrasound to form diagnostic images for various body parts. They are trained to acquire and analyze sonographic images used to help doctors diagnose and treat conditions.

You will perform exams, ensure image quality, document patient history, and assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning while maintaining safety and department standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment and adjusts transducers to perform exams.
• Maintains image quality and ensures prompt submission to PACS with correct lead markers and patient data/history.
• Maintains department cleanliness, organization, and safety standards; reports equipment issues and malfunctions.
