Job summary

Prosser Memorial Health in Prosser, WA is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography technologist to perform ultrasound exams across pediatric to geriatric patients under radiologist direction. The role requires independent procedure performance with general supervision by the Director of Radiology.

Ideal candidates hold an ARDMS certification or Registry Technologist in Sonography, an accredited Ultrasound Technology Training Program, and a current BLS credential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography; if no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• National Certification from ARDMS, or National Registered Technologist - Sonography, upon hire.
• BLS certification required.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director, the technologist will independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography; If no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience equal to that of an AA Degree may be considered or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography.

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• 1 year of medical sonography as a registered sonographer or as a registry-eligible sonographer.
