Job summary

Baton Rouge General Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasonographer to join our vascular health team in Baton Rouge, LA. You will perform ultrasound diagnostic studies and work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate imaging.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS or CCI certification, completion of an ultrasound program, and 1–2 years of ultrasonography experience preferred.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI Certification required.

What You Will Do

Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies in accordance with department policy and protocol. To Monitor and evaluate patient care quality and efficiency as part of a multi-disciplinary team and appropriate for the age population served, as defined in the department's scope of service.

• Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with unit-based standards of practice.
• Practices effective communication that enhances teamwork and quality of care.
