Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Facilities Water Operations Technician to operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrapure water and industrial wastewater treatment systems across semiconductor facilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency in water-related processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3+ years of relevant experience, with the ability to rotate 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of experience operating or maintaining water treatment, chemical processing, or semiconductor facility systems.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (3 days on/4 days off, then 4 days on/3 days off).

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrapure water and industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Follow standard operating procedures for water treatment processes, chemical systems, sampling, laboratory testing, and instrumentation.
