Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to design and deliver industrial control panels compliant with NEC and UL 508A. You will create complete EPLAN schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs for systems up to 600V AC and 2000V DC, guiding fabricators from design transfer to acceptance.

You will partner with mechanical teams on enclosure, thermal strategy, and integration while leading high-voltage testing and DFMEA activities to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • BS in EE/ME with 5+ years or MS in a relevant field.
  • Fluency with EPLAN or comparable panel design tools.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering to NEC and UL 508A.
  • Practical high-voltage testing experience with rigorous safety practices.
  • Track record managing vendors through fabrication and acceptance.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer industrial control panels that comply with NEC (NFPA 70) and UL 508A.
  • Produce complete EPLAN schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs.
  • Select connectors, wire harnesses, branch protection (breakers, fuses), and power conversion (drives, transformers, rectifiers).
  • Specify and validate designs for up to 600V AC and 2000V DC.
  • Guide third-party panel fabricators from design transfer through acceptance.
  • Plan and execute high-voltage testing: hipot, insulation resistance, and functional verification.
  • Partner with mechanical teams on enclosure choice, thermal strategy, and integration.
  • Lead DFMEA contributions, identifying risks and mitigation actions.
