Job summary

A leading language services provider seeks experienced Ukrainian Language Instructors for onsite classes in Arlington, VA. The role demands proficient Ukrainian speakers with cultural knowledge and at least three years of teaching experience to adults. Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining an online classroom environment. This is a full-time position from April to August 2026 with various benefits including health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language to adult learners.
• Experience administering proficiency-based assessments like DLPT or OPI exams.
• Experience developing foreign language instructional material and curricula.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group Ukrainian language classes onsite in Arlington, VA.
• Assess students’ progress and adapt teaching techniques to their needs.
• Maintain an online classroom environment through the Learning Management System.

Skills

Educated proficient speaker of Ukrainian

Cultural knowledge of Ukraine

Basic computer skills

Experience with hybrid teaching

Education
