Job summary

Ocean Park Asset is seeking a UI/UX Designer to own how the product looks and works on screen. This is one seat for product and general design, with immediate start and potential for long-term collaboration. Fully remote freelance engagement.

You will shape the desk, the account, and how we show up — not hand files to someone else. You should design real interfaces, explain flows in writing, and work directly with frontend engineers in a fast, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating product, UI, or brand design.
• Experience designing real interfaces beyond social tiles.
• Ability to explain a flow in writing before decorating.
• Proficient in Figma or the tool used for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design the surfaces operators and clients actually use — desk, risk states, onboarding, account
• Hold the visual system: type, color, spacing, and what we refuse to decorate
• Treat empty, loading, error, and blocked as first-class states
• Make brand and campaign work when we need it — site, decks, launches — without letting it eat the product
• Work with frontend so what you design is what ships
• Test flows with real tasks, not opinions about taste

Product, brand, and the screens people look at. One designer seat.

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to own how Ocean Park Asset looks and works on screen. This is one seat for product and general design. You will shape the desk, the account, and how we show up — not hand files to someone else. Brand people who can design a product are welcome. Product people who can hold a visual system are welcome. If you only make posters, this is the wrong listing.

Coming from brand, graphic, or marketing design? That works if you can also design a flow. Coming from product or UX? That works if you can also make something look like it belongs here. We want one person who can do both — not a coordinator, and not posters only.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• A portfolio we can open — product, UI, brand, or a mix. Show the work, not a moodboard of other people's shots
• You have designed a real interface, not only social tiles
• You can explain a flow in writing before you decorate it
• Comfortable in Figma, or the tool you actually ship from
• Comfortable working remotely with high autonomy

Nice to have

• A trading, fintech, or ops console in the book
• Brand systems you have maintained, not only a logo
• Motion used to explain state, not to decorate
• Some HTML/CSS — enough to talk to engineering without a translator

Rate range

$95 – $170 USD / hour
