Job summary

PortoSpire in Ohio seeks a talented UI Designer to translate requirements into clean, intuitive interfaces and compelling interaction flows. You will collaborate across teams to shape product visuals and experiences, create wireframes and site maps, and present milestones to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong UI/visual design skills, a solid portfolio, and experience with rapid HTML/CSS/JS prototyping within Agile environments. BS/MS in HCI or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating UI design.
• Proficiency in visual design and interaction.
• Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to present designs and sell solutions to stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Staying current with latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Working towards BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related.
