Job summary

Artifintech in Chicago is seeking an experienced Front-end Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale web applications using React.js.

You will lead front-end architecture, build reusable UI components, and collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver high-performance, accessible interfaces.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of front-end development experience.
• 5+ years with React.js.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Redux and state management.
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and Git; Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale web applications using React.js.
• Lead front-end technical design and architecture discussions.
• Build reusable, scalable, and responsive UI components.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and user experience.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI and application issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of front-end development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Redux, Context API, and state management frameworks.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Retail or eCommerce environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (not mandatory).
• Experience with Micro Frontend architecture.
• Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
