Jump Trading Group seeks an experienced UI front-end developer to join our UI platform team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will build and extend our core UI platform, enabling business-critical applications for multiple teams and stakeholders.

You should be fluent in React and TypeScript, with WebSocket/REST experience and a strong emphasis on testing, pair-programming, and agile processes. Trading/finance exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building web-based UIs.
• Expertise with React, TypeScript, WebSocket protocols, REST, and UI unit-testing.
• Comfortable in an agile, collaborative environment with pair-programming and testing.
• Empathy for platform users and anticipation of changes.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend the core UI platform.
• Use the platform to create business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to enable their apps on the platform.
