Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC. You will design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium, and create automated test scripts across Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Playwright (Java/TS), JavaScript, Selenium, BDD and Cucumber, plus a track record building scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Playwright, Java, JavaScript, Selenium, and API Automation, with a strong background in designing and building scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.
• This role requires a self-driven professional who can Consultantly lead UI automation initiatives, establish best practices, and drive quality across the software development lifecycle.
• The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build automation frameworks from scratch and define automation standards, processes, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Perform API automation testing and validation to ensure service reliability and quality.
• Utilize Selenium, BDD, and Cucumber methodologies where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
• Continuously improve automation efficiency, test coverage, and execution performance.
• Mentor team members on automation best practices and framework development.
