Citi is seeking a Senior Angular Developer to lead complex Angular projects from conception to deployment. You will build high-quality applications, mentor peers, and ensure robust testing and code quality while focusing on performance and secure, scalable UI components.

The role requires deep Angular expertise, experience with state management, MFE patterns, and a collaborative mindset to work across cross-functional teams in a payments context.

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Senior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and lead complex Angular projects from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality Angular applications
• Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
• Solid understanding of payments industry, including various payment systems and processes
• Optimize application performance and scalability

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of Angular framework
• Expertise in component‑driven development, with a focus on creating reusable, modular, and scalable UI components
• Demonstrated ability to create scalable and maintainable app using Micro Front End (MFE) principles
• Proven experience with state management solutions (e.g., NgRx, RxJS, Akita, Signals)
• Experience in migrating Angular applications between major versions
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Extensive experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, Jasmine, Karma)
• Solid understanding of front end development best practices and design patterns
• Architectural mindset, with regards to writing code that is secure, performant and reusable
• Experience with frontend debugging techniques
• Analytical skills with a proactive problem solving approach, embrace knowledge attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Angular, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, Web Security, Mongo.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Vitest, Karma).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices(e.g., Github)
• Experience working with UX/UI design tools, particularly Figma, for translating designs into Angular components
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement new features
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Contributions to open‑source projects
• Hands on with AI Technologies (eg. Devin, Copilot)

Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience
