Job summary

Allstream Services & Rental, LLC in Houma, LA, is seeking a UHP Technician to support refinery, marine, and tank terminal projects. You will follow SOPs, participate in safety meetings, and perform repairs on UHP equipment while maintaining equipment and reporting incidents.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures for UHP Technician role.
• Read and participate in JSAs, toolbox talks, and pre-job safety meetings.
• Safety refuel and maintain supporting equipment including water maker.
• Assist in Rig-Up and Rig-Down as instructed; provide general job site support.
• Report incidents, accidents, spills and near misses to the Job-site Lead immediately.
• Participate in all QHSE programs and complete trainings as directed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned at Management Discretion:

• Ability to understand and conduct Standard Operating Procedures as they apply to UHP Technician Role
• Read, comprehend and participate in JSAs, Toolbox talks and other pre-job safety meetings
• Learns and follows emergency procedures and reporting structure in the event of an and emergency
• Uses and understands usage requirements of all PPE including fall protection and UHP Specific PPE.
• Understands Safe Usage of UHP Equipment such as UHP Pump, Hoses, Robot, UHP hand Lance, and supporting Equipment
• Will perform necessary repairs to UHP Hand Lance in a safe manner following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Will safety refuel and maintain supporting equipment including the Water Maker
• Will safely assist in Rig-Up and Rig-Down as instructed
• Provide general job site support as directed by the Job Lead
• Report all incidents, accidents, Spills and Near Misses to the Job-site Lead Immediately
• Actively Participate in all QHSE programs within the company
• Completes all training assignments as directed

Physical Demands

• UHP Technician must be able to perform their role in remote outdoor environments that may include using stairs, elevated work, and other conditions cohesive to refinery, marine, and tank terminal facilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Experience in related field preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses as required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting.
