Job summary

Morgan Stanley seeks a Vice President, Ultra High Net Worth Planning Specialist to lead sophisticated financial planning for UHNW clients. You will partner with Financial Advisors to develop comprehensive plans covering cash flow, retirement, taxes, estate planning, and gifting, while explaining complex topics clearly and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes advanced estate planning knowledge, collaboration with senior planners, and training Advisors on planning software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
CFP certification required.
Five to ten years of progressively responsible experience in financial planning or wealth management.
Experience delivering comprehensive financial plans for UHNW clients.
Advanced knowledge of estate planning concepts and related tools.
Ability to explain complex planning concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel and to work in an office four days per week.

Responsibilities

Partner with Financial Advisors and UHNW clients to conduct discovery and identify goals and needs.
Create holistic financial plans using Wealth Studios and other planning apps.
Interpret plan results and develop actionable observations for advisors and clients.
Present plans and complex concepts in client meetings.
Collaborate with Directors and WEPS on estate planning matters.
Train and support advisors on Wealth Studios and planning capabilities.
Track planning activity and client engagement metrics.
