Job summary

Aunt Ann's In-House Staffing represents a UHNW family in Palo Alto seeking an experienced House Manager/Housekeeper to oversee daily operations of a 6-bed, 7-bath estate. This hybrid role combines hands-on cleaning, meal prep, vendor management, and household logistics.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a high-net-worth household, exceptional discretion, English fluency, and a clean driving record. Salary is $150,000–$165,000 plus health stipend, retirement, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a high net worth household with great references.
• Fluency in English.
• UHNW experience in private estates.
• Discretion, trustworthiness and confidentiality/privacy.
• Hands-on capability in light maintenance and project oversight.
• Excellent communication with vendors and neighbors.
• Willingness to assist with occasional weekend needs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Source, hire, schedule, and supervise third-party contractors and service providers.
• Oversee routine maintenance and larger estate projects (e.g., skylight/window installations, garden setup).
• Act as a courteous point of contact for neighbours and municipal services.
• Maintain full-charge housekeeping for the 6-bedroom, 7-bath home.
• Care for marble, hardwoods, and finishes with non-toxic methods.
• Handle routine personal laundry and light ironing.
• Research and establish relationships with local farms and suppliers for fresh ingredients.
• Prepare wholesome, daily meals and manage household errands and inventory.
