United Hospital Center seeks a Respiratory Therapist - Level I to provide evaluation and care for respiratory therapy patients. Administers prescribed respiratory services and works within the department’s scope to support neonatal through geriatric care.
Position requires WV licensure, BLS within 30 days, and 1 year of RT experience; Level ladder outlines progression based on experience and credentials. Shift is 6:30a–7:00p with a 36-hour week at the Bridgeport facility.
Provides evaluation of and care for respiratory therapy patients. Administers prescribed respiratory therapeutic services. Performs the duties and responsibilities within the scope of a Respiratory Therapist - Level I, as defined within the job description.
MD: Respiratory Care Practitioner through Maryland Board of Physicians
OH: Respiratory Care Professional through Ohio Board of Medicine
PA: Respiratory Therapist through Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine
WV: Licensed Respiratory Therapist Certified (LRTC) or Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) through West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care
