Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi‑state Registered Nurse license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
Experience
  • One (1) year of registered nursing experience.

  • Modify patient’s plan of care based on data collection and individual needs.
  • Use evidence‑based practice to provide patient care.
  • Delegate according to scope of practice.
  • Verify the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
  • Provide education based on learning needs and family involvement.
  • Promote effective communication among interprofessional team members and healthcare consumers.
  • Influence policy to promote safe patient care.
  • Utilize appropriate resources in providing care, especially in sensitive situations.
  • Incorporate processes to enhance organizational growth and influence.
  • Participate in developing strategies to promote healthy communities and practice environments.
  • Recognize strategies to improve nursing quality.

Physical Requirements
  • Minimize manual patient lifts, limit safe patient handling to 35 pounds; use lift equipment as appropriate.
  • Heavy/Hard work: Strength and stamina for lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and carrying materials and equipment weighing 40+ lbs.
