Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care per care plan and under supervision to promote comfort and health.
  • Perform designated therapeutic procedures as needed for assigned patients.
  • Observe and document patient status, report changes promptly.
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as directed.
  • Contribute to nursing assessment with data collection and reporting.
  • Monitor patient condition and document deviations from normal health.
  • Support care plan development with data and priority setting.
  • Educate patients and families and assist in rehabilitation per plan.
  • Document interventions and responses to care in the chart.
  • Administer IM, subcutaneous, IV and oral medications as assigned.
  • Seek supervision when implementing nursing techniques or practices.

Assists in assigned patient and family education and rehabilitation by reviewing patient needs with the overseeing role and following the teaching plan.9. Documents nursing interventions and responses to care, communicating to appropriate members of the health care team.10. Accurately and safely administers intramuscular, subcutaneous, IV and oral medications as assigned.11.
