Position Overview

Meat and Seafood Manager

Full Time – Mid Level to Master

Reporting To: Store Director, Director of Meat

Direct Reports: Meat & Seafood Associates

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service and share expert knowledge on meat and seafood products.
  • Maintain cleanliness, proper signage, and organization in the Meat Department.
  • Pull and rotate meat case products properly.
  • Coordinate with the Pricing Coordinator to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Manage inventories, including paperwork, grind logs, and origin information.
  • Schedule team members, manage orders, and monitor sales and labor.
Company Standards & Expectations
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report safety issues promptly.
  • Use department tools and equipment according to policy.
  • Adhere to dress code and wear name tags.
  • Complete required training and stay updated on industry best practices.
Physical & Basic Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lbs, exert force frequently, and work on slippery floors. Dexterous use of hands, standing, and moving between workstations are essential. Ability to use knives and sharp instruments safely is required.
