Overview

UF Health Medical Group in Leesburg, FL, and The Villages, FL is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Fracture Care Surgeon. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the evaluation and surgical management of injuries. Experience is preferred; however, new graduates will be considered. This is an outstanding opportunity for any professional with a wealth of knowledge in their field.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage orthopedic fracture injuries and provide surgical care as indicated. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in patient care across UF Health Central Florida sites.

Minimum Requirements
  • Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes.
  • Four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialty License or Certification.
  • Board certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (or specified area of medical specialty).
  • Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification.
