Job summary

Greenlight LLC is seeking a UET Instructor at Camp Pendleton, CA to deliver classroom instruction and in-water training on compressed air emergency breathing devices and underwater egress. You will also support maintenance and pool operations to ensure safe, effective training.

The role requires diving certifications (PADI/NAUI Rescue Diver, CPR/AED, DAN instruction) and strong communication skills to supervise up to 24 students. A disability accommodation process is described in the posting.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Clear oral communication in classroom and one-on-one settings.
• Ability to define problems and provide solutions under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Provides classroom instruction on underwater egress theories and equipment.
• Instructs and supervises students during underwater egress exercises.
• Performs maintenance and checks of submerged training devices and overhead lifting systems.
• Operates overhead lifting device for submerged training equipment.
• Rescues students and administers first aid as needed.
• Uses SCUBA equipment to assist students and staff underwater.
• Performs maintenance of underwater emergency breathing devices.
• Determines water chemistry and records readings.
• Maintains order in pool and pool areas.
• Inspects and assembles standard SCUBA equipment.
• Inspects facilities for cleanliness and pool area maintenance.
• Supports general maintenance tasks without requiring specific certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
