Canonical is seeking a kernel/firmware engineer to own boot/process concerns for the Ubuntu kernel on x86 platforms. You will collaborate with a globally distributed team to resolve BIOS/UEFI/ACPI issues and contribute to FWTS, patching the kernel, and improving tooling.
The role requires strong C programming, AML/UEFI knowledge, Git proficiency, and willingness to travel internationally. Remote work is supported with global team collaboration.
