Qualifications

• 3+ years medical billing experience.
• Expert knowledge of UB-04/CMS-1450 form.
• Knowledge of state and federal payment laws.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily billing process and ensure successful submission.
• Review and correct claims returned by the clearinghouse, payer, or internal edits.
• Follow-up and investigate billing errors with payers and team members for resolution.
• Suggest billing component changes as necessary for payers.
• Work reports to ensure accurate classification of accounts and final billing.
