Job summary

SURVICE Engineering is seeking multiple full-time UAV/UGV Technicians in Churchville, Maryland to support our Applied Technology Operation, UAV/UGV research and flight operations.

Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance as a U.S. citizen. Trade degree or certification preferred, with mechanical/electrical assembly experience. SolidWorks is a plus and a Part 107 license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade degree/certification preferred.
• Experience building mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies in a lab or production environment.
• Ability to develop mechanical and/or electrical drawings.
• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Team player with initiative and effective communication skills.
• Part 107 License Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
• Develop production documentation that may include assembly drawings and procedures.
• Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units, including sub-assembly, process assembly, inspection modifications, upgrades, and rework.
• Repair and maintain UAV/UGV systems.
