Job summary

Jetoptera seeks a Software Engineer, Controls and Autonomy, to develop control algorithms for piloted and autonomous UAV platforms. You will work on maneuverability, attitude control, sensor integration, and telemetry to support VTOL, hover, and package delivery scenarios.

Experience in flight dynamics and autonomy, with MATLAB or similar tools, is highly desirable as part of a rigorous aerospace engineering team advancing cutting-edge UAV technology.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace control systems and flight dynamics.
• Proof of robotics skills and autonomy design is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define a unique control algorithm for Jetoptera's products, including maneuverability and attitude control.
• Integrate sensors, telemetry, and backup algorithms for autonomous flight and VTOL operations.
