Job summary

United States Army Reserve seeks an RQ-7 UAS Repairer to maintain the Shadow UAS fleet and ensure readiness for deployment and intelligence gathering. You will repair electrical, avionics, propulsion, and communications systems, supporting takeoff/landing and fuel subsystems.

Basic training and advanced individual training are provided, with paid instruction and a pathway to national certifications. Enlistment is required into the United States Army as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Piloting and operating unmanned aircraft systems.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on UAS hardware.
• Diagnosing electrical and avionics issues on aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Shadow UAS to ensure readiness for missions.
• Repair and inspect electrical, propulsion, communications, and fuel systems.
• Support preflight checks and post-flight troubleshooting as needed.

As an RQ-7 Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Repairer, you'll work with cutting-edge technology and surveillance, maintaining the Shadow UAS to ensure they are ready to fly and able to gather and transmit important intelligence information. You’ll repair electrical, avionics, propulsions, communications, takeoff and landing, and fuel systems.

Testing & Certifications

• 57 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available.
• 10 weeks of Basic Training (Paid).
• 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (Paid).
• Requires enlistment into the United States Army.

Basic Eligibility Requirements

• Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card. (I-551).
• Age: Between 17 to 34 Years Old.
• Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent
