Evolved Aerospace is seeking a UAS Pilot in Rome, New York, to operate and support testing of their UAS platforms. You will work closely with engineering teams to validate system performance in real-world conditions.

UAS Pilot

Location: Rome, New York

You’ll operate and support testing of our portfolio of UAS platforms, working closely with engineering teams to validate system performance in real‑world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Execute flight tests for our suite of UAS platforms.
• Support development and validation of flight test plans.
• Provide real‑time feedback on system performance.
• Identify and report anomalies during flight operations.
• Assist in system tuning and iterative testing cycles.
• Support ground testing and system bring‑up as needed.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and operational protocols.

Core Skills

• Currently hold relevant licences (Part 107 etc)
• UAS piloting experience with strong safety discipline.
• Ability to operate in structured and evolving environments.
• Clear communication and reporting.
• Adaptability in fast‑moving test and operational contexts.

Preferred Experience

• Rotorcraft or helicopter platform pilot experience.
• Defense, public safety, or commercial UAS operations.
• Flight test environments.
