Job summary

SAIC is seeking an UAS Cybersecurity Engineer to support security hardening and documentation for unmanned aircraft systems. Based in Huntsville, AL on an onsite schedule, the role blends hands-on work with vulnerability testing and agile scrum reporting.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance possible.
Experience with Linux operating systems and vulnerability management.
Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools (ACAS, Nessus) and security standards (NIST RMF).
Experience with source-code scanning tools (Checkmarx, SonarQube, Fortify).
Ability to work in an Agile Scrum environment and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and systems for development and security hardening.
Run scans to identify vulnerabilities in applications, hardware, and OS.
Apply configuration changes to address vulnerabilities (Windows, UNIX/Linux).
Document results from vulnerability testing and system evaluations.
Support Security Control Assessments using STIGs, ACAS, Nessus, and NIST RMF.
